Welcome to Four Acre Woods Campground
Four Acre Woods Rules and Information
We want you to enjoy your stay and feel at home with us. For your enjoyment and the enjoyment of other campers. Please read and observe the following:
Speed Limit 5 Miles Per Hour: One way to your right as you enter.
Checkout Time: 12 Noon
Quiet Time: 10pm-7am
Pets: Must always be leashed and are not to be left unattended. Please clean up after your pet.
Trash/Recycling: Please use trash cans and recycles located around the campground. Please do not throw items that won’t burn in the fire rights. Every day is earth day. RESPECT THE ENVIRONMENT.
Fires: Please build fires in fire pits ONLY and NEVER leave them unattended. Please keep your campfire small, no larger the 12” maximum. FIRE SHOULD BE COMPLETELY OUT BY THE TIME YOU’RE IN FOR THE NIGHT. You can pick up dead branches on the ground for your kindling. Firewood is available for purchase at the checkin area.
Alcoholic beverages: To be consumed on your site only. Extensive use of alcohol will not be tolerated.
Visitors: If you expect visitors, please have them check in with our staff. There will be a small fee and parking must be arranged. They must leave by 9pm.
PLEASE DO NOT CUT ANY TREES
Any cancellations and/or changes to the reservation must be made seven days prior to arrival date by 6:00 p.m. EST to avoid a one-night tent charge, plus tax. During this time of uncertainty, we will work with each reservation if any cancellations are made due to travel restrictions or government mandates surrounding COVID-19.
Group cancellations and/or changes must be made 30 days prior to first arrival date. Cancellations or changes within 30 days of arrival are subject to a one night tent charge plus tax for each reservation within the group block.
Gate: We will not lock the gate at night unless necessary. If you should find it closed, it will not be locked. You may come and go as you please.
Water: For campers using our primitive sites, you can find drinking water at the pumphouse. All other sites have drinking water at the sites.
Electricity: All of our non-primitive sites have charging stations.
Bathrooms: May be closed briefly each day around 12:30 for cleaning.
Wifi: We recommend disconnecting from technology during your stay. If you must send a text, call, or check email… a passcode can be provided.
Emergency: In the case of emergency, please dial 911. There is a landline located at the camp manager’s office. First aid kits are also available.
